Before payment
A customer or administrator can cancel a pending, open or booked request while the job is still eligible for cancellation. If the booking is awaiting payment and no payment has been reported, the unpaid payment record can be cleared.

CANCELLATIONS & DISPUTES
Cancellation is simplest before a provider starts work. Once a payment has been reported, verified or work has begun, the booking may need administrator review before the payment record can be closed.

Do not send another payment. Find Local Help first checks whether money was actually received. If no payment arrived, the record can be cleared. If payment arrived, it must be verified before any refund record is completed.
The customer can confirm completion or indicate that further work is needed. A request for further work returns the booking to an active state so the parties can address the issue.
REFUNDS
If a verified payment exists on a cancelled booking, contact Find Local Help. The current marketplace workflow records a full refund only after the refund has actually been processed in PayPal.
Whether a refund is appropriate can depend on the circumstances, including whether work has started, whether agreed costs were already incurred and any rights that apply under law. Do not assume that cancelling a paid booking automatically settles those questions.
