TRUST & SAFETY
Clear expectations before anyone gets to work.
Find Local Help connects customers with independent local providers. We review provider applications, limit what information is shared before a booking, track booking status and keep payment records visible in the workspace. We also make the limits of the marketplace clear.
A provider application is reviewed for completeness and marketplace fit before quoting is enabled. The review looks at the information the provider submits about services, coverage, equipment and availability.
Important: approval is not a background check, licence verification, insurance verification or endorsement unless we specifically say otherwise.
Contact details are limited
Before a provider is selected, providers can review the job information needed to decide whether to quote, but exact service addresses and customer contact details are restricted.
After a customer selects a provider, the booking can reveal the contact and location information needed to arrange the work.
Payment status is tracked
Customers pay using the payment instructions shown in the booking. Find Local Help manually verifies reported payments before providers are told to proceed, and provider payouts are recorded after completion is confirmed.
