We are initially building provider coverage in Halifax Regional Municipality and the South Shore, including communities around Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Bridgewater, Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Chester.
Providers elsewhere in Nova Scotia and Canada can still apply. Matching opportunities will depend on customer demand and active coverage in your area.

We review the information submitted in your provider profile for marketplace fit and completeness. Approval does not mean Find Local Help has independently verified every claim, qualification, licence, insurance policy or background detail. Providers remain responsible for being appropriately qualified and insured for the services they offer.

Who can become a provider?
Individuals and businesses can apply. Your profile should accurately describe the services you offer, where you work, your availability and the vehicles, tools or equipment you can provide.
Do I need a truck or trailer?
No. Some jobs require hauling capacity, while others may only need labour, hand tools or specialized equipment. Only select services and job opportunities you can complete safely and properly.
How much does Find Local Help charge providers?
Find Local Help retains 20% of the pre-tax accepted quote on completed jobs. The provider receives 80% of the pre-tax amount plus any applicable tax included in the quote. Payment processing is covered from the platform share.
How do I get jobs?
After your application is approved, matching open jobs can appear in your workspace based on service category, service area and other profile information. You choose whether to submit a quote. Customer demand and job volume are not guaranteed.
Can I choose my own price?
Yes. You submit your own total quote and availability. Your quote should account for labour, travel, equipment, disposal or other job costs, plus any applicable tax.
What happens after a customer selects me?
The booking shares the contact and location information needed to arrange the job. The customer pays Find Local Help using the payment instructions in the booking. Payment is verified before work begins, and the provider payout is handled after completion is confirmed.
Does provider approval guarantee work?
No. Approval allows you to participate as a provider, but job availability depends on customer demand, your location, the services you offer and whether customers select your quotes.
Do I need insurance?
Your application asks whether you carry insurance appropriate for the services you offer. Providers are responsible for making sure they have any insurance, licences, permits or qualifications required for their work.
